5th Six Weeks - 5th Week

Yo Falcons!

This week, we will be having STAAR exams!

 It is crucial for ALL OF YOU to be ready and prepared for them. On Tuesday, 8th grade math will be taking their STAAR exam, and students that are in Algebra will be Benchmarking. If you are in Mrs. Chapa's 6th period class, you will be benchmarking in my classroom. On Wednesday, ALL students will be taking their STAAR 8th grade reading exam. For the reading exam, students will be taking that test in THIER HOMEROOM. It is important that  you all get plenty of rest tonight (Monday) and tomorrow night (Tuesday) in order to be mentally rested and be able to do your best on each exam.


Below is our week in a glance:

Monday: Presentations continue. 

Tuesday: 8th grade Math STAAR Test / Algebra Benchmark

Wednesday: 8th grade Reading STAAR Test

Thursday: Presentations conclude. 

Friday: Continue working on Types of Sentences.

5th Six Weeks - Week 3

Holy Jubilation!

We are already in the third week of the Six Weeks! It seems that time flies by faster the farther int he year we go! I am aware that next week is....SPRING BREAK! However, don't get distracted with your vacations in class. Stay attentive and alert during all times of each class.
